1. Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
- Projects:
- QTL-seq for Mapping Genomic Regions Governing Bakanae Resistance in Rice
- Molecular Genetic Analysis of Stress Tolerance in Rice, Wheat, Chickpea, and Mustard
- Salary: ₹31,000/month + 24% HRA.
2. Skilled Helper
- Projects: CRP on Molecular Breeding & Hybrid Technology.
- Salary: ₹21,917/month.
Eligibility
For SRF:
- Essential:
- Master’s in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Life Sciences (4/5-year integrated Bachelor’s).
- OR PG in Basic Sciences (3-year Bachelor’s + 2-year Master’s) with NET qualification (ICAR OM 30.07.2019).
- Desirable: Experience in molecular markers, field phenotyping, and rice crop handling.
For Skilled Helper:
- Essential: 10+2 in Agriculture/Horticulture/Science/Arts/Commerce.
- Desirable: Field/lab experience in rice research.
Age Limit
- SRF: Max 35 years (SC/ST/Women: 40; OBC: 38).
- Skilled Helper: Max 40 years (Women: 45).

- SRF: ₹31,000 + 24% HRA.
- Skilled Helper: ₹21,917 (fixed).
