- Ph.D. in relevant discipline for all departments except Architecture and Planning (Level 10).
- Master’s Degree with 1-year experience for Architecture and Planning (Level 10).
- First Class in preceding degrees (60% or CGPA 6.5/10).

- As per Govt. of India norms for faculty recruitment.
- Superannuation Age: As per NIT norms.
