Eligibility
Junior Overman (Trainee):
- Diploma in Mining Engineering (60% for UR/OBC/EWS; 50% for SC/ST).
- Valid Overman’s Certificate (DGMS) + First Aid Certificate.
- Local Language: Proficiency in Tamil (proof via SSLC/10th certificate).
Mining Sirdar (SG-I):
- Diploma/Degree (any discipline) + Mining Sirdar Certificate (DGMS).
- OR Diploma in Mining + Overman’s Certificate.
- First Aid Certificate mandatory.

Selection Process
- Written Test (100 marks):
- Part-I: General Aptitude (30 questions).
- Part-II: Subject Knowledge (70 questions).
- Duration: 120 minutes.
- Language: English only.
- Qualifying Marks: 50% (UR/EWS), 40% (SC/ST/OBC).
- Bonus Marks (20): For Project Affected Persons (PAPs) of NLCIL.
- Document Verification & Medical Fitness Test.
